Board of Commissioners Seeking Applicants for Three Positions on Mining Advisory Panel
The duty of the Josephine County Mining Advisory Board is to advise the Board of Commissioners of environmental problems and concerns of the mining and timber industries.
The panel is also charged with advising the Commissioners about illegal mining on private and governmental lands, on mining ventures of large corporations and how these activities can affect the citizens of Josephine County.
Applications will be accepted until January 6th, 2017.
Applications are available at the Commissioners’ Office in Room 154 of the Josephine County Courthouse in Grants Pass or interested parties can log on to the website at http://ift.tt/2i8vfaS.
